Sexy Mama!

This beautiful client is a mama of two!  She initially scheduled the session as a gift for her hubby and a celebration of turning 30. In the end, I think we were able to show her just how gorgeous and sexy she is! Thank you so very much for allowing me to share your anonymous images!

Why did you choose Hush Boudoir? I looked at all of the boudoir photographers in the area, but I felt that the quality of work that Cari does was the best. Her style was exactly what I was looking for – classy and elegant and sexy. I also liked the fact that she had her own studio and plenty of pretty backdrops/furniture, as well as the opportunity to get your hair and makeup professionally done. Basically all you have to do is show up with your outfits, and she takes care of the rest.

Going into your session, were you worried about anything?  I was definitely nervous. Trying to be “sexy” in a photo feels a little goofy to me, so the idea of trying to pose “sexy” and make “sexy” faces made me feel like I would look ridiculous.  And here I am with stretch marks, acne, and pancake boobs. But what was so fabulous about the experience is that Cari put me completely at ease. She showed me exactly how to pose so there was so second guessing, and the way she gushed over each photo she took made me feel like I was the most beautiful person she’d had in front of her camera. 

How has doing a boudoir session affected you? I think it’s made me look at myself a little differently and with a little more confidence. I’m a wife and mom, and I definitely don’t get the opportunity to dress up and feel pretty every day. And as much as I don’t think women should measure their worth by their looks, sometimes it’s just nice to dress up and feel good about yourself and feel like your outsides match your insides.  

What was your favorite part of doing a boudoir session? The actual shoot was so much fun – with my hair and makeup all done and a pretty outfit on, I felt like a model. But probably the best part was the end result and finallly getting to present my husband with the photos. I’m terrible at keeping secrets from him, but I pulled this off, and he was so surprised and so blown away by the photos. It was great to watch him look through the book so many times and exclaim about how beautiful each photo was. 

What would you tell women thinking of doing a boudoir session?  Do it!! You will feel like a million bucks. The only regret you’ll have afterwards is that you didn’t do it sooner!
